Our Summer Workshop Series is open to the public! The Workshops are available for serious dancers of intermediate or advanced levels. The classes are divided into two levels, based on ability, for classes in Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop and more! All of our Workshop Series Instructors are working professionals who have achieved exceptional success in the dance world!
Jacki Ford grew up in Utah, training at The Dance Club. Upon high school graduation Jacki received the prestigious Willam Christensen scholarship & attended the University of Utah graduating with a BA in ballet in 3 years. She went on to become one of the world famous Radio City Rockettes. Although her credits include concert work, Off Broadway, theater and commercials her biggest passion has become choreography and teaching. An Ace Awards choreography finalist, Jacki has won awards across the country for her work. She is currently on faculty at PACE University in the commercial dance department where she teaches ballet and jazz and continues to travel around the country as a guest teacher and choreographer.
Mariah Aivazis earned a minor in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College. She danced on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, New York Fashion Week, the Nintendo Pre-Launch Party at Rockefeller Center, Good Morning America, IFC TV’s “Sweatsgiving”commercial, Aaron David’s “Bikini” music video, Project Runway, & numerous other performances and concept videos. She is a member of AbstraKT Beings the Company directed by Theresa Stone, and performed with The Orsano Project, Derek Mitchell Dance Company, and Fab Habitz, & works by Shirlene Quigley, Brooke Wendle, Lizz Picini, Shannon Mather, Brooke Pierotti, Marinda Davis, and Ellenore Scott, as well as numerous others. She is currently signed with Lucille DiCampli Artist Representation.
Michaela McGowan trained at The Loudoun School of Ballet, and went on to receive her BFA with honors from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts 2012. She was a dancer in Broadway Dance Lab’s Spring and Summer 2018 working with Josh Prince (BDL Artistic Director), Robbie Fairchild, Loni Landon, Ray Mercer, Kristen Carcone, Helen Simoneau, and John Carrafa. Michaela has worked with Mia Michaels, Josh Bergasse, Greg Graham, Lisa Shriver, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Aszure Barton, Larry Keigwin, as well as choreographers Rachel M. Hettinger, Emily Greenwell (ACE Awards), Josh Assor, Jaclyn Walsh, Calen J. Kurka, and Mike Esperanza (film). Michaela is on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance Capezio Center.
Robert Mark Burke has danced for Lucinda Childs Dance, Meagan Woods and Bryn Cohn + Artists and has been seen on the 30th Anniversary Tour of "Cats". He currently dances for Megan Williams Dance Projects and 10 Hairy Legs and has taught at studios and universities around the world. In 2015, he launched Robert Mark Dance as a way to continue his creative practice. His work has been seen at The Paramount Theater, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Dixon Place, Rutgers University and The Wild Project. He is the recipient of the NJPAC Emerging Choreographer Fellowship and the Dance on the Lawn Emerging Choreographer Award. In 2019, he was commissioned by Eryc Taylor Dance as part of the company’s EARTH series.
Rachel Reese trained at Dance Dynamics, Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey. She danced on the nationally acclaimed Saint Joseph’s University Dance Team where she led her team as captain to 3 national championships, including a back to back hip-hop championship in 2014 and 2015. Rachel is now coach of the Division I dance team, that continues to earn a top three placement at UDA College Nationals. Rachel has choreographed for dance teams that compete at both NDA and UDA High School Nationals & for several professional teams including the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers, and The Philadelphia Wings Dancers. Her routines have won numerous choreography and entertainment awards.
Patrick Daniel, while attending high school he had extensive training with Orlando Ballet, ABT Austin, The Rock School, and Joffrey Ballet. Upon completion of high school he attended the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia on full scholarship for 2 years. After his second year in college Patrick began touring with Bad Boys of Ballet for 5 years across Europe and performing at various industrials. Patrick has also danced with Stacey Tookey’s Still Motion Dance Company, shot a music video for Logo TV and recently shot a commercial for the brand OPPO. Now residing in New York he teaches and choreographs for professional and preprofessional students globally and signed as a dancer with MSA Agency.
Open to all intermediate and advanced dancers! Krista will be teaching a technique class with a focus on legs, turns & leaps. Private lessons available upon request. Limited space available!
