Did you know that dance is considered a leading preventer of Alzheimer's & Dementia?

Our Faculty are established professionals-seasoned performers or choreographers, or with degrees from renowned dance programs in performance and education. We continue to work with pillars of the dance community to bring our students the absolute best!


Denise studied in various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, aerobics and yoga. She has a degree from Pace University, & musical training in piano and flute. Denise continued to train and found herself teaching dance to children. She loves working with children and has 4 of her own. She has a few part time jobs, but teaching children has always been her favorite. Today she teaches children of various ages, specializing in younger children, hoping to instill in them an appreciation of the art of dance.


Mark joined RAPS Dance Troupe at Rutgers Univ., danced with and choreographed for the team for 3 years. After a brief stint with FR3SH Dance Company, he danced for and co-directed The Society for 6 years. Mark has had the opportunity to perform at World of Dance NJ, Prelude EC, and Defining Rhythm as well as teach workshops all around New Jersey, New York, Boston, and Philly. Mark currently co-runs CreativExchange, a community centric organization that provides classes and workshops in the Rutgers area.


Emily is an undergraduate student at Montclair State University pursuing a
B.a. in Dance Education with K-12 certification. Emily attended Howell High School in FPAC & has completed the Complexions Summer Dance Intensive, Joffrey Ballet Summer Dance Intensive, Point Park International Summer Dance Program, the UArts Summer Institute & performed at the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.


Tara graduted Summa Cum Laude from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College as the Presidential Award Winner for Achievement in Dance. she performed works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Norbert De La Cruz III, Andrea Schermoly, Brian Enos, Michelle Thompson Ullerich, & Stuart Loungway. She has trained with BalletX, Paul Taylor, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, & North West Dance Project, & attended Springboard Danse Montreal. Past performance credits: BodyTraffic & Satellite Collective. She is CURRENTLY with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company, Hudson Ballet Theater, & IS a founding dancer for Wyckoff Collective.


Alex trained at New Jersey Ballet and was a member of the New Jersey Tap ensemble under Deborah Mitchell. She has performed with the New York Liberty “Lil Torches” & the Knicks City Dancers as a Knicks City Kid at Madison Square Garden. She is best known for her leap and turn training methods which have become well known not only in the competitive dance world but with gymnasts and ice dancers as well. She is currently on staff with Imagine Dance Challenge. 


Patrick had extensive training with Orlando Ballet, ABT Austin, The Rock School, & Joffrey Ballet. he attended the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia on full scholarship for 2 years then began touring with Bad Boys of Ballet across Europe & performing at various industrials. Patrick has danced with Stacey Tookey’s Still Motion Dance Company, shot a music video for Logo TV & recently shot a commercial for the brand OPPO. he is signed as a dancer with MSA Agency.


Melanie is a graduate oF Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University) 2016 with a B.F.A. in Dance Cum Laude and was a recipient of the James Dickson Carr Scholarship. She has worked with choreographers Jessica Lang, Nick Bruder, Kate Weare, Jennifer Freeman, Kim Gibilisco, Keith Thompson, Paulette Sears, Randy James, Doug Elkins, and John Evans. As a member of the Movement Playground she has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.) and Jacob's Pillow. Melanie is certified in progressing ballet technique (PBT), T SPHERES & Flexistretcher.

Alexa has been a dance educator for over a decade, advocating for "smart" dance training, with special focus on anatomy and the mind-body connection. She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts 2014 with her B.F.A. in Dance having received the University Dance Works Scholarship and Dance Express Choreography Award. Alexa is currently a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a Performance Enhancement Specialty and certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and
T Spheres Technique. Her students have gone on to perform in the National Tour of Matilda, to attend Boston Conservatory on merit scholarship, University of the Arts on merit scholarship, Alvin Ailey’s Pre-Professional Program on merit scholarship, and more!

Alexa has worked with choreographers including Larry Keigwin, Brian Brooks, Doug Elkins, Ginger Thatcher, Stefanie Battan Bland, Sidra Bell, Manuel Vignouelle, Julie Bour, Jay T. Jenkins, Randy James, Graham Lustig, Jonathan Campbell, Raegan Bliss Wood, and Keith Thompson.

She performed in the Princeton Dance Festival & at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C. As a member of Zella Dance Company, Alexa performed across the United States and she toured internationally with the production Uma Saudação à Whitney Houston.

Alexa worked as Marketing Associate for New York City Dance Alliance & used her background in graphic design to create the visual content for New York City Dance Alliance, Onstage New York, and Lanteri NY. She established herself as a social media specialist working on events including the New York City Dance Alliance National Finale, the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards, Destiny Rising, and Bright Lights Shining Stars. In 2017 Alexa founded Lambarri Dance Arts, in memory of her grandmother Nilda Lambarri who passed from Dementia, to provide a space for young dancers to grow as artists while developing their technique incorporating functional methods to train in "smart" and more efficient ways.
