In memory of their grandmother Nilda Lambarri who passed from Dementia, Alexa & Melanie established Lambarri Dance Arts in 2017 to honor their grandmother and create a space where young dancers develop a mind-body connection and train through proven, science-based methods that yield successful results!
Each year portions of our profits are donated to the ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION in an effort to find a cure!

FACULTY
Alexa has been a dance educator for over a decade, advocating for "smart" dance training. She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts 2014 with a B.F.A. in Dance and received the University Dance Works Scholarship & Dance Express Choreography Award. Alexa is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement Specialties & is certified in Relative Motion, Progressing Ballet Technique, Progressing Contemporary Technique & T Spheres Techniques. Her students have gone on to perform in the National Tour of Matilda, the North American Tour of Mean Girls and attend Boston Conservatory, UArts, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Montclair State, Alvin Ailey and more! Alexa has worked with Larry Keigwin, Brian Brooks, Julia Ritter, Ginger Thatcher, Pamela Levy, Stefanie Battan Bland, & Sidra Bella & performed at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington D.C.). As a member of Zella Dance Company, Alexa performed across the United States & she toured internationally with the production Uma Saudação à Whitney Houston. In 2017 Alexa founded Lambarri Dance Arts, in memory of her grandmother Nilda Lambarri who passed from Dementia, to provide a space for young dancers to grow as artists while developing their technique incorporating functional methods to train in "smart" and more efficient ways.
ALEXA
Marlon Santana is a professional teaching artist/dancer/creative from Elizabeth, NJ. After being self-taught for many years, he began his formal training at the age of 19 studying Hip Hop, Commercial Jazz and Contemporary Fusion. His credentials include: “The Soul Spot” Directed and Choreographed by Candace Brown, BTS, Justine Darcene, Carnival, Club Jete, Sybarite and many more. Past dance companies: Motus, Royal Thieves, Kreativ Mndz, and Enigma Dance Collective. For the last few years, his main focus has been towards teaching and bettering the NY/NJ community. Marlon is looking forward to more opportunities facilitating safe environments for people to grow in ways they never thought possible.
MARLON
Marcus Henson trained at Debbie Allen Dance Academy and with renowned dance masters from all over the world; from The Bolshoi Ballet, Kirov, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Broadway, Film/TV, etc. He was then cast in a number of original productions written & directed by Debbie Allen, including “Alex In Wonderland” (a modern theatrical/dance musical adaptation of Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland”) premiering at the prestigious Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. | 2007. After graduating from HS with Honors, Marcus would further his academic endeavors by enrolling in Chapman University’s Dance BFA program. Henson’s first National/Canadian Tour was San Rio’s “Hello Kitty Friendship Festival” in 2015. The live/stage performer did a couple of music videos; Noah Cyrus’s “My Way” & Jessica Sutta’s “I’m Gonna Get You”, which reached #1 on the dance billboard charts. Marcus has done several web commercials, print modeling; and lots of ‘featured background’ work for various TV/Series productions, i.e. “Ballers”, “Euphoria”, “Grown-ish” & more. Produced by Patrick Cassidy, Marcus joined 5-Star Theatrical’s production of “Beauty and the Beast”, with Disney’s famed-recording vocalist/actress; Susan Egan. In 2019, Henson would hit the road again, booking his second National Tour - “EVITA!”; as the male dance lead amongst the ensemble. Marcus received the ‘2022 Best Choreography Award’ at ‘Turn It Up! Regionals and the ‘2023 Excellence in Choreography Award’ at Revolution’s Regional in Baltimore, MD. The traveling teacher also serves as an adjudicated judge for STARPOWER. Marcus Henson can be seen modeling for dance’s leading brand, CAPEZIO!
MARCUS
Ashley Agrusa has been dancing for 20+ years. She is originally from Michigan, where she trained at Deborah’s Stage Door on their competitive team. She is trained in jazz, tap, ballet, acro, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary! She is a proud graduate of Cap 21 Conservatory at Molloy University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her professionally career has lead her to perform shows including The National Tour of My Fair Lady as assistant dance captain, Anything Goes (PCLO) Beauty and the Beast and School of Rock (Tuacahn), Catch Me If You Can (The REV) and many more! One of Ashley’s passions in life is to spread knowledge and help foster the next generation of artists!
ASHLEY
Originally from Biloxi, MS, Jarred Bosch is a New York based dancer and choreographer. He received his BFA from Marymount Manhattan College, where he performed the works of Dwight Rhoden, Aszure Barton, Paul Taylor, and Emory LeCrone to name a few.
Since graduation, he has performed throughout Europe, China, Canada and the United States. Most notably he was a company member with Carolyn Dorfman Dance, a featured dancer in Square Productions film “Exit12: Moved by War” and a performer at the Yang Li Ping International Dance Festival in Beijing. He's also worked with many New York artists such as Mike Esperanza, Destini Rogers and LaneCoArts, and spent summers studying with Parsons Dance, Springboard Danse Montreal, and Nederlands Dans Theater. Bosch is a guest teaching artist for many studios, universities and intensives around the US including Peridance Capezio Center, the Destro Experience, and Physique 57. Bosch’s choreography has been presented at the Young Choreographers Festival and the Bryant Park Contemporary Dance Series.
JARRED
Melanie is a graduate oF Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University) 2016 with a B.F.A. in Dance Cum Laude and was a recipient of the James Dickson Carr Scholarship. She has worked with choreographers Jessica Lang, Nick Bruder, Kate Weare, Jennifer Freeman, Kim Gibilisco, Keith Thompson, Paulette Sears, Randy James, Doug Elkins, and John Evans. As a member of the Movement Playground she has performed at the John F. Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.) and Jacob's Pillow. Melanie is certified in progressing ballet technique Level 3 (PBT), Relative Motion, T SPHERES, Alixa Flexibility& Flexistretcher.
MELANIE
Alysson is our studio receptionist and has been with Lambarri Dance Arts for 4 years. She's the face that welcomes you into the studio everyday and has the answers to all of your questions. Alysson is currently studying and training to become an event planner.
