Policies

By attending a class or registering for a program at Lambarri Dance Arts in Matawan or Bayonne, NJ, I understand I agree to the following policies:

I understand these policies are effective throughout my dancers attendance or enrollment at Lambarri Dance Arts.

INJURY RELEASE
I the parent/legal guardian acknowledge and give, to my minor under 18, permission to participate in dance and other athletic performance-related activities for which they are registered with Lambarri Dance Arts, LLC which may include, without limitation, participation in weekly classes, workshops, Photo Week/Weekend, The Spring Gala, all Virtual events whereby I participate at a remote location, and/or events to be named subsequent to the date hereof. I hereby agree on behalf of myself and the student of whom I am parent/guardian (if applicable) to abide by the rules and regulations of the Lambarri Dance Arts, LLC. as they may be in effect. I hereby authorize the Dance Studio and its owners and instructors to obtain emergency medical treatment either through my family physician or any other appropriate emergency medical service which may be available in the event of a medical emergency. I recognize and agree that the Studio does not provide Medical insurance for the benefit of its students, and I agree to be responsible for any medical expenses which may arise in connection with attendance or instruction at the Studio while the student is on the premises of the Studio or while the student is under the care or control of Studio Personnel. I hereby release and hold harmless the Lambarri Dance Arts, LLC. and its owners, employees, instructors and agents from all liability which may arise in connection with attendance or instruction at the Studio, while on the premises of the Studio or under the care or control of personnel at the Studio. This release is also on behalf of the minor student registered at the Studio where applicable. I agree to sign and be bound by the Studio standard release form.

TUITION & FEE POLICY
Tuition at Lambarri Dance Arts is based on the full value of the season's instruction—not the number of classes in any given month. For convenience, this total is divided into equal monthly or installment payments.
Tuition Options:
Monthly Installments: Due on the 1st of each month, late after the 5th.
2-Payment Installments: First due upon registration; second due December 1st.
Pay in Full: Due at registration and eligible for a 10% discount.
Additional Fees:
Costume, performance, and registration fees are separate and must be paid by posted deadlines. A $25 late fee will apply to all late payments. A $30 fee will be charged for returned payments, in addition to the late fee.
Past Due Accounts:
If a payment is over 30 days late, the dancer will not be permitted to attend classes until the account is paid in full.
Refunds:
All tuition, costume, deposit, and performance fees are non-refundable. Missed classes, absences, or withdrawals do not qualify for tuition reimbursement. No refunds will be issued in the event of a force majeure (e.g., weather, pandemic, etc.).

GALA & PERFORMANCE POLICY
Participation in the Spring Gala is a culminating part of our training program and is mandatory for all enrolled dancers unless explicitly stated otherwise by the studio.
The following events are required in order to perform in the Spring Gala:
Photo Week
All mandatory rehearsals, including any in-class and studio-wide rehearsals
Full Dress Rehearsal
Dancers who do not attend Photo Week or miss Dress Rehearsal will not be permitted to perform. No exceptions will be made for avoidable conflicts such as vacations or family events. It is the responsibility of each family to plan accordingly and uphold this commitment as part of their enrollment.

DROP POLICY
Written notice must be submitted by the 15th of the month to avoid being charged for the following month’s tuition. This applies to monthly and installment plans.
All fees paid before the drop date—including deposits, tuition, costume, and performance fees—are non-refundable.
Re-enrollment after dropping will require a new registration and deposit.

MAKE-UP CLASS POLICY
Dancers are permitted up to 4 make-up classes per style per season. No make-up classes will be offered beyond this limit.
We expect families to prioritize dance. Excessive absences affect progress and placement.
More than 4 absences per style per season may result in ineligibility to perform and/or loss of future placement opportunities.

SUBSTITUTE INSTRUCTION POLICY
We reserve the right to use qualified substitute instructors without prior notice when necessary. All substitute faculty are vetted professionals. Class content will align with Lambarri Dance Arts curriculum and values.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION POLICY
A valid credit card must be kept on file.
Cards will only be charged if payment is late (after the 5th) unless an automatic payment plan is authorized in writing.
If a payment is missed, the stored card will be charged on the 6th, along with applicable late fees.
Written notice is required to enroll in or cancel automatic billing.

VIRTUAL CLASS POLICY
In the event of a government-mandated shutdown or emergency, classes will transition to virtual instruction. All payment and attendance policies will remain in effect.
Virtual classes are not offered by request on a regular basis.

TRADEMARK & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
The name “Lambarri Dance Arts,” our logos, and all branded phrases are trademarked.
Use of our branding—including phrases like “Lambarri Dance Mom,” “Lambarri Dancer,” or similar—is strictly prohibited on any merchandise or material without explicit written permission from studio leadership.
Violation may result in legal or enrollment consequences.

LATENESS POLICY (New)
Dancers are expected to arrive on time, fully prepared, and dressed for class. If a dancer arrives more than 15 minutes late, they will not be permitted to enter class that day.
Late arrivals are disruptive to the class flow and unsafe for the dancer due to missed warm-up. A make-up class may be scheduled for eligible students, within the 4 make-up class limit per style per season.

DRESS CODE POLICY (New)
All dancers are required to follow the studio dress code in order to participate in class.
Dress code details will be sent prior to the season and reviewed during the first week of classes.
This includes required attire, footwear, and proper hair styling for each class style.
Dancers out of dress code—including missing required shoes, wearing improper attire, or arriving with hair not appropriately secured—will not be permitted to take class.
A make-up class may be scheduled, within the 4 make-up class limit per style per season.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE (Optional)
I authorize Lambarri Dance Arts to use photographs or videos of my child for promotional purposes including social media, press, and advertising.
If you do not consent, sign this agreement and email us stating you opt out of the Photo/Video Release. That email will serve as an official addendum to your waiver. All other policies will remain in effect.
