We offer scholarships to conventions, professional studios, and to technique training programs at the end of the Intensive. All dancers who fully participate in our Intensive are eligible to be selected for a scholarship

Charles Scheland is a New York City based dance artist and teacher. Charles grew up in Germany, Austria, and the Washington DC area, and graduated summa cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance program with a double major in Dance and Economics and departmental honors in both. Charles is currently a dancer with Carolyn Dorfman Dance, and also works with Michael Mao Dance and Sarah Berges Dance. He previously danced for RIOULT Dance NY, and has also been a guest artist with Buglisi Dance Theater, New England Dance Theater, and Alison Cook-Beatty Dance. He has performed works by Alvin Ailey, Robert Battle, Bill T. Jones, Juel Lane, Jessica Lang, Milton Myers, Henning Rübsam, Paul Taylor, and others. Charles teaches ballet and Horton technique, and is Milton Myers’ assistant and demonstrator at Jacob’s Pillow, the Juilliard School, Steps on Broadway, and internationally. He is on faculty at Steps on Broadway, The Ailey School, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and the School at Jacob’s Pillow.

Outside of the dance studio, Charles is the Executive Assistant at Dance ICONS, and he co-hosts and co-produces a podcast with The Nerd Party network called Throwback Paperback.

Teddy Tedholm is a choreographer, dancer, and dance instructor based out of NYC. He has worked with artists as varied as Deborah Hay, Netta Yerushalmy, Kate Sicchio, Erica Sobol, Sidra Bell, Douglas Becker, Julie Mayo, and many others. Since receiving a BFA in Ballet from University of the Arts, he has presented work throughout the country live and on film to great acclaim. In 2021, he received the Ardsley Online Choreographic Fellowship through the Dance Gallery Festival and a grant from the New York City Artists Corps. He has created work in residence at Emma Dior Studios in Quebec, Flux+Flow in Columbus, GALLIM in Brooklyn, Mes Hall in Mount Vernon, and many others. In addition to being nominated for a "World Dance Award" for best Concert Performance, his work has been described by Dance Magazine as "anything but conventional," by Dance Informa as "totally mesmerizing," and as "eye popping" by the Boston Globe. 


As his artistic practice grows and matures, he moves further toward the fringes of what could be and believes dance is the first frontier of the future of human society. Imbued with wonder, skepticism, intelligence, and even a dash of hope each of Teddy's works seek to create a world unto their own and to encourage audiences to expand their understanding of what a dance can be. In 2024, he is looking forward to a month-long residency at Djerrasi in Woodside, California as well as performing “Without Fanfare,” a new work by Deborah Hay as a part of her Trio Commissioning Project.






Hannah Gossett is a dedicated teacher, student and lover of the arts. Growing up in Ohio, she began her dance training at 10 years old and instantly knew this was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Hannah has worked in the industry with various artists and companies including Macklemore, Herb Alpert, Beacon, TMobile and Sonos, to name a few. 

Teaching has always been Hannah’s passion and purpose. She is continuously creating and producing programs and creative dance experiences wherever she goes to help dancers gain confidence and self assurance in their own art form. Hannah is currently able to share her work on a larger scale at Artists Simply Human, where she serves as a faculty member and Company Director.

Nicolette Alberti was born and raised in NY. In 2015, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Nicolette started her professional career gracing the stage of some of the most famous theaters both for modern dance and physical theater including Lincoln Center, BAM, and Baryshnikov Arts Center. 

In 2018 Nicolette brought her talents to Los Angeles and took the commercial industry by storm performing alongside the biggest artists in the industry: Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Nicki Minaj, J Balvin, and many more. Nicolette most recently was a dancer on 50 Cent’s “The Final Lap” World Tour. She has appeared on television for Pepsi Superbowl LIV Halftime Show, The Grammy’s, MTV’s Video Music Awards, The American Music Awards, BET Awards, The Voice, national television commercials, etc.

Nicolette is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at Montclair State University. Her teaching credits include being the Guest Artist in Residency at Rutgers University and Sacred Heart University, Master Classes at top Universities including USC & MSU, Steps On Broadway, Brooklyn Academy of Music, NYC Public Schools, and various dance studios around the country.

Logan Epstein is a New York-based performer and choreographer. She began her training at Westchester Dance Academy, where at a very young age she was exposed to some of the top choreographers in the industry. She grew up dancing and competing throughout the country and is trained in all styles. She then went on to attend Pace University where she earned a BFA in Commercial Dance. While in college, she toured with and taught at national conventions and began assisting choreographers in Los Angeles and New York City.

As a performer, Logan has appeared in commercials, industrials, live performances, and regional theater productions. She is a performer at her core, but her heart lies in creating new musicals, storytelling, and educating. She has assisted top choreographers in all avenues of the industry including theater (Anne of Green Gables workshop, I Can Get it for You Wholesale Off-Broadway debut, A Walk on the Moon at George Street Playhouse, Rent at Theatre Aspen, Fiddler on the Roof in Concert, On Your Feet at Westchester Broadway Theatre, Elf on the Shelf the National Tour), feature film (Your Monster), and television (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon). She also had the opportunity to choreograph the opening celebration gala for the Broadway production of Once Upon a One More Time. Upcoming productions include making her Off-Broadway Associate Directorial debut in The Lonely Few at MCC Theatre.

Ashlé Dawson is undisputedly one of the most versatile educators and choreographers in the industry. She has been faculty at the renowned Broadway Dance Center, NYC for 12 years and counting as well as for the youth program, AIM. She is Guest Faculty at TMilly in LA and has taught Master Classes in over 30 countries including some of the most prestigious studios around the world including LAX Paris, Brent Street Sydney, Proda Oslo, and Kamata JAZZ Brussels to name a few. Ashlé has taught at innumerable conventions throughout her career and is currently on faculty at Celebrity Dance Conventions. She is frequently commissioned by Dartmouth College in NH for educational seminars as well as Buffalo University. Ashlé has an unwavering passion to educate and inspire while leadering others to their greatest potential using positive psychology.
Ashlé has extensive experience in the industry, subverting mediums from screen to stage, with credits including In The Heights. (Film), Mira Quien Baila (Spanish DWTS,) Latin Grammys, Latin Billboards, iHeart Fiesta, SYTYCD Top 4, America’s Got Talent, AGT, Wild’N Out, Times Square NYE (Univision.) She’s worked for artists Don Omar, Prince Royce, Gloria Estefan, Wisin y Yandel, Leslie Grace, Romeo Santos, Alejandra Guzman, and Tito Puente Jr. to name a few and with top names like Steven Spielberg, Anne Hathaway, John Leguizamo, John Oliver, Martin Short, Mario Cantone, and Rachel Dratch. She recently choreographed for Carnival Cruise Lines newest Brazilian show, “RIO Carnival.” Ashlé has been featured in publications including DANCE magazine, Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher, and The Wall Street Journal.

Chelsea Thedinga grew up training in Las Vegas, Nevada at Inspire Dance Company under the artistic direction of Robert Contreras. She continued her studies at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts and International Studies with a major in Dance, under direction of Jeanine Huggins. After moving to Los Angeles, she began assisting choreographers Sonya Tayeh, Travis Wall, and Stacey Tookey on FOX’s So You Think Can Dance. In 2011 Chelsea started touring with latin artist Chayanne on his world tour No hay impossibles choreographed by Nancy O’Meara and Tyce Diorio. Her film and television credits include the MTV Video Music Awards, La La Land, Glee, In the Heights, VOX LUX, Up Here, The Academy Awards, The Ellen Show, Dancing With the Stars, The Emmy Awards, American Music Awards, and America’s Got Talent. She has danced in musicvideos for Christina Perri’s “Jar of hearts”, Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water,” Steed Lord’s “123 if you want me,” and is the featured dancer in Sara Bareilles’s “Fire.” She has completed 6 national tours with Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound, and has performed with Stacey Tookey’s company Still Motion Dance, that presented work in Los Angeles, New York, Montreal, and Jacob’s Pillow.
Chelsea relocated to New York in 2016 where she began dancing with Tayeh Dance as a principal dancer in Sonya Tayeh’s original works Foresight Hindsight at the Cape Dance Festival, and You’ll Still Call Me by Name at New York Live Arts, Hudson Valley Dance Festival, and Jacob’s Pillow. She was a featured performer in Al Blackstone’s Freddie Falls in Love. She's a founding member of Jenn Freeman’s Freemove Dance, and with Freemove, she has been a part of two original creations when and ..it’s time.., which have presented at the Palm Desert Choreography Festival, and the 14th street Y. Most recently, Chelsea performed with Peter Chu’s company chuthis and has been in creation for Black Swan the musical under direction of Rachel Chavkin and Sonya Tayeh.
In 2021 she set work on Novea Linea dance company for their inaugural season, and was the associate choreographer to Will Loftis for a dance scene featured in The Girl from Plainville starring Elle Fanning. She is currently teaching contemporary on faculty at Adrenaline Convention and was recently nominated for “Convention Teacher of the Year” at the Industry Dance Awards. New York City remains her home base, where she enjoys teaching guest classes at Steps on Broadway and Mark Morris Dance Center as well as collaborating with
local artists to explore dance on film.
