We offer scholarships to conventions, professional studios, and to technique training programs at the end of the Intensive. All dancers who fully participate in our Intensive are eligible to be selected for a scholarship

MILES KEENEY is a New York City based professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. He's represented by MSA talent agency, and has worked commercially in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Atlanta and internationally. His choreography credits include lead choreographer and creative director for Peloton’s dance cardio series featuring Usher, GLAAD awards 2019 and 2022, the NBA Brooklynnets, Miami Heat, HBO’s Wigstock, Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Burju Shoes, Bacardi Rum Shakers, Peppermint, Life Ball Vienna, Dolby Labs, Nikki Tino, Choreographer’s Carnival, Leg Up On Life, and for countless universities and dance studios throughout the U.S. and abroad. His dance credits include dancing for American Horror Stories, Adam Lambert, Brandy, In The Heights Movie, Jason Derulo, Pedró Capó, Thaiaa, Yennis, Silentó, Calvin Chen, Todrick Hall, NFL, Nordstrom, and many more.

Miles graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. double majoring in Dance and Developmental Psychology. He is an adjunct professor at Pace University's Commercial Dance BFA program, as well as tours the country teaching with Revel Dance Convention. He's had the opportunity to train under the most revered names in the industry and has been noted for his power, ferocity, and versatility.

Miles is a powerhouse teacher who teaches consistently in New York City at Broadway Dance Center as well as at various studios nationally and internationally. He has developed a unique choreographic voice that pulls from his training in hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern. His classes leave his students feeling like they have channeled their inner superstar and tapped into a higher level of performance quality. He has worked and taught extensively in China with Sinostage Productions, as well as other international destinations Singapore, The Philippines, Morocco, New Zealand, Greece, Thailand, Spain, Ireland, and Canada.

Alexa Luke is a Georgia native, currently living and working professionally in New York City. She received her early dance education at Roswell City Dance under the direction of Shannon Childers, and then went on to tour as an assistant with Intrigue Dance Convention. Alexa’s primary interests and passions lie in contemporary dance. She sees the possibilities as endless, and strives to develop new concepts and discoveries through moving and creating. Alexa currently teaches at Broadway Dance Center, Brickhouse NYC, and Peridance. She has presented work at shows including Sybarite NYC, Brickhouse Openhouse, and Uptown Rising. Alexa has also won numerous choreography awards at studios all across the country. She is extremely committed to her work, and finds genuine fulfillment in discovering new ways to reach people and create connection through movement. Alexa hopes to be ever-growing and ever-learning, continuously spreading her love for dance with those around her.








Nicolette Alberti was born and raised in NY. In 2015, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. Nicolette started her professional career gracing the stage of some of the most famous theaters both for modern dance and physical theater including Lincoln Center, BAM, and Baryshnikov Arts Center. 

In 2018 Nicolette brought her talents to Los Angeles and took the commercial industry by storm performing alongside the biggest artists in the industry: Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Nicki Minaj, J Balvin, and many more. Nicolette most recently was a dancer on 50 Cent’s “The Final Lap” World Tour. She has appeared on television for Pepsi Superbowl LIV Halftime Show, The Grammy’s, MTV’s Video Music Awards, The American Music Awards, BET Awards, The Voice, national television commercials, etc.

Nicolette is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at Montclair State University. Her teaching credits include being the Guest Artist in Residency at Rutgers University and Sacred Heart University, Master Classes at top Universities including USC & MSU, Steps On Broadway, Brooklyn Academy of Music, NYC Public Schools, and various dance studios around the country.

Katie Walker became a Radio City Rockette in 2008 and in her 15 years as a Rockette, has held the role of assistant dance captain, swing, dance captain and assistant choreographer. As a Rockette, Katie performed at The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting, America’s Got Talent, The Annual White House Christmas Party and The Today Show. In 2015 and 2016, Katie helped create and stage the NY
Spring Spectacular and the NY Spectacular alongside Warren Carlyle and Mia Michaels. As an assistant choreographer, Katie helped direct and choreograph for the Tony Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, USO Partnership Performances, America’s Got Talent, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Special and a Hallmark
Channel Movie “A Holiday Spectacular”. She has had the honor to serve as co-rehearsal director and assistant to Linda Haberman for The Verdon Fosse Legacy’s “Sweet Gwen Suite” which has been performed at the Hudson Valley Dance Festival and Red Bucket Follies.

Katie founded Elevate Ballet in 2022 (www.elevateballet.com), a company that focuses on ballet training for aspiring Rockettes, jazz, Broadway and musical theater dancers. She is the co- founder of The Precision Dance Collective (www.precisiondancecollective.com) which hosts monthly
workshops and annual performances with a focus on precision dance training.

Katie is currently a choreographer in New York City. Her work was recently performed for Pace University’s Commercial Dance DanceSpace Performance, BDC Professional Semester and
Steps On Broadway Industry Showcase. She is on faculty at
Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center and is an adjunct
professor at Marymount Manhattan College.

Waverly Fredericks (he/him) originally from Washington Heights, New York, received his BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School under the direction of Alicia Graf Mack and Mario Alberto Zambrano. Waverly began his training at Dance Theatre of Harlem then later attended Fiorello
H. LaGuardia High School, the Ailey School, and MOVE|NYC|. Waverly has appeared as a top eight finalist on Season 17 of “So You Think You Can Dance”. His summers have taken him to Alonzo King LINES Ballet and Jacob’s Pillow. Waverly has also performed the works of Medhi Walerski, Ohad Naharin, Spenser Theberge and Jermaine Spivey, Sidra Bell, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Sonya Tayeh, and Norbert De La Cruz III, among others. As a choreographer, Waverly’s choreographic works have appeared in Choreographers and Composers 2021 and Choreographic Honors 2022 and 2023 as well as MOVE|NYC|’s Young Professionals Program. He feels an
extensive amount of gratitude for the journey he has been on and can’t wait to see what else is in
store.

Starting at 13, Jackson has trained at ballet schools across the country such as CPYB, PA Ballet, The Rock School, and Joffrey. After being a ballet apprentice, he realized company life was not his ideal and has since freelanced in commercial dance, Latin Ballroom, TV and Film, and back-up dancing. Hip-Hop is where his heart lays and he has been able to create spaces where contemporary/technical movement can be fused with commercial/street style work. He has had the pleasure of performing works by dance hallmarks such as The Balanchine trust, Merce Cunningham, Isadora Duncan, Christopher Wheeldon, Parris Goebbel, Fatima Robinson, and many others. As an Educator, he places an emphasis on creating equitable and inclusive spaces that are lead with positivity and a willingness to grow. 

Brad Beakes is a New York City based dance artist originally from Glendora, California and a graduate of California State University, Fullerton. In his performance career, Beakes has been honored to dance with the Limón Dance Company (2016-2017), Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company (2011-2016), Nikolais Dance Theatre (2011-2018), Keith Johnson/Dancers, NOW-ID, and BARE Dance Company, among other collaborators. He has been a performer, teacher, and administrator with Doug Varone and Dancers since 2017. Beakes has had the pleasure of teaching with the New York City Department of Education, Limón Institute, Dance International Program of Japan, Manhattanville College, and SUNY Purchase College. His current choreographic projects include duet work with friend and collaborator Thryn Saxon as well as commissions with Manhattanville College and California State University, Fullerton.

Alexia Acebo is a Tampa native and NYC based performer, teacher, and choreographer. After growing up in the competitive dance world with Summers spent at The Joffrey Ballet School and Orlando Ballet School, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from The University of Alabama. Her professional career began with Norwegian Cruise Lines as an aerialist and dancer before making the move to NYC. Upon arrival, she soon joined the National Tour of Chicago, the musical, playing Annie (ensemble) and understudying the role of Velma. Halted by the 2020 shutdown, she returned home to Tampa for a while to pursue teaching again as well as begin her business, a women's wellness health coaching startup called THE BKFST CLUB. In the interim, she was a featured dancer in Marcus Mumford and Major Lazer's "Lay Your Head on Me" music video choreographed and directed by Ryan Heffington. Upon returning to New York, Alexia moved into TV & Film as a featured dancer on EPIX Bridge & Tunnel, choreographed by Jason Williams. After this, she spent the summer at The Muny in St. Louis in 'On Your Feet!' directed by Maggie Burrows and choreographed by William Carlos Angulo. Alexia then performed on the Broadway National Tour of Wicked as a part of the ensemble, playing the role of the Witch's Mother. Most recently, Alexia was seen in Houston Grand Opera’s West Side Story and the stage at Radio City Music Hall for NBC’s Upfronts. Alexia takes pride in being able to share a variety of professional experiences with young dancers to equip them with the tools necessary to succeed in this industry, rotated primarily in sound work ethic and treating people well. She feels blessed to be in the studio with dancers, training and creating, giving back what this art form has so generously given her! @alexiaacebocarter
